kremlThe year 2015 marks 25 years since the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square are included into the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The unique ensemble of the Moscow Kremlin has been forming during more than 500 years. Development of Russian architecture, as well as its connection with the European cultural tradition, is reflected in it. The architectural sites of the Kremlin and Red Square are unique monuments of the national school of architecture, the construction of which marked the appearance of the new trends in Russian architecture. Not only the political but also cultural and spiritual center of the country, the Moscow Kremlin witnessed the most important events in the Russian history. Image of the unique architectural monuments of the Kremlin and Red square ensample were embodied in the masterpieces of the national literature, music and fine arts.
