The ceremony of awarding the prize winners of the Festival of Audiovisual International Multimedia Patrimony in cultural heritage sphere took place at Shanghai Museum of History on 28 August 2019. Two projects of the Moscow Kremlin Museums were pronounced silver prize winners in two nominations. ‘The Qianlong Era’ video film which accompanied the exhibition held at the Moscow Kremlin Museums ‘Treasures from the Palace Museum: The Flourishing of China in the 18th Century’ took the prize in the Medium-length Film category. An animated trailer of the exhibition in the Moscow Kremlin Museums ‘Ming Dynasty: The Radiance of Knowledge’ took the prize in the Education & Outreach category.

This year, 57 museums from 12 countries took part in the competition, namely Austria, Brazil, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Hungary, Iran, Italy, Japan, Russia and Taiwan.

The F@IMP 2.0 Festival is organized by AVICOM — ICOM International Committee for Audiovisual, New Technologies and Social Media. AVICOM has promoted and recognized excellence in audio-visual and multimedia creations from around the world. F@IMP 2.0 AVICOM Festival’s mandate is to encourage, enhance and promote the production and distribution of audiovisual (film, video) and multimedia products (websites, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, kiosks, mobile applications, new museography, etc.) designed for museums or designed and/or produced by museum and heritage institutions or by professionals and private companies specialized in cultural multimedia.
