The watercolour plein air dedicated to the International Children’s Day was organised in the Grand Kremlin Garden Square on 1 June 2025.
Under the guidance of experiences teachers and artists of the Children’s Centre, equipped with brushes and pencils, the participants showed their talents, depicting the grandeur of the Moscow Kremlin’s ensemble and splendid scenery. During the plein air, the guests also learned about the basics of painting: how to choose the right aspect, build the composition and create original colour grade.
The organisers did their best to make young artists feel comfortable: they were provided with necessary materials, including paints, pencils, easels and paper. Those who chose watercolour created bright sketches, while pencil amateurs managed to draw studies, impressing with the beauty of lines.
The event attracted the parents who came to support their children. They watched the process of art creation with great interest and were delighted to see the enthusiasm with which the young participants dove into it. Each work created during the plein air became not only a souvenir but also a symbol of the artist’s talent.
