We would like to show you a photo-report on installing the exhibits that came from the Shanghai Museum to the Moscow Kremlin Museums.

It is for the first time that a collection of over 150 exhibits representing the Ming dynasty – a highly important period in Chinese history – are presented in Russia. Guests of the exhibition have a chance to familiarize themselves with the true cultural phenomenon, a deep and diverse intellectual world of an educated person in Imperial China.

There are jade and bronze pieces, works made in the techniques of lacquer carving and cloisonné enamel, unique furniture of the Ming era, notable for characteristic beautiful lines and noble woodcarving, and porcelain — a "trademark" of the Ming dynasty, justly considered as an apex of the "white gold" production. A wonderful set of 66 figures of the honourable escort is one of the highlights of the exhibition.

The 'Ming Dynasty: The Radiance of Knowledge' display is held from 17 April to 25 July 2018 at the Exhibition hall of the Assumption Belfry and Exhibition hall of the Patriarch’s Palace.
