Free admission for the participants of special military operation and their family members will be available from 19 to 25 July, allowing them to visit the territory of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, the architectural ensemble of Cathedral Square, the Armoury Chamber, as well as the exhibitions of the museum: “Fine Dining: Stories of Food in Ancient China� in the halls of the Patriarch’s Palace and the Assumption Belfry, and “1941-1945. Moscow. Kremlin. Rescued Treasures� in the Anteroom of the Armoury Chamber.

On 18-19 June 2025, the Cross Chamber of the Patriarch’s Palace hosted the conference “Dining in the History of Europe and Asia: Art, Traditions, Cultural Space�, timed to the current exhibition of the museum “Fine Dining: Stories of Food in Ancient China�.

The government of the Russian Federation awarded a commendation to Elena Gagarina, General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, for active engagement in preparing and holding international events in 2024 with the participation of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The watercolour plein air dedicated to the International Children’s Day was organised in the Grand Kremlin Garden Square on 1 June 2025.

From the 4th till the 7th of June, the 11th Book Fair “Red Square� will be held in Moscow. The stand № 6 of the Moscow Kremlin Museums is open on the Museum line in the GUM Department Store. The visitors can buy exhibition catalogues, guides, books for family reading and various museum souvenirs.

On 17 May 2025, the Moscow Kremlin Museums joined the All-Russian Campaign “The Night of the Museums�. Lectures about Russian heroes and saint warriors were prepared for the guests on Manezhnaya Street, 7. In the Alexander Garden, other participants visited the excursion about the memorials of two patriotic wars.

On 8-10 April 2025, the research-to-practice conference ‘Museum Libraries in Modern Society’ was held in the lecture hall of the Moscow Kremlin Museums on Manezhnaya Street. This year, the theme of the conference was ‘Book and Book Collections: New Attributions’.

The Moscow Kremlin Museums will present the publications at the International Book Fair for High-Quality Fiction and Non-Fiction “Non/fiction�, which will take place in the Gostiniy Dvor from 10 to 13 April 2025.

On 11 April 2025, the exhibition halls of the Patriarch’s Palace and Assumption Belfry will open their doors to the exhibition “Fine Dining: Stories of Food in Ancient China�, which will present the art pieces from the collection of the National Museum of China for the first time in Russia. The exhibition at the Moscow Kremlin Museums is part of the official events program for the Russian-Chinese Intercultural Years 2024-2025, announced by the governments of both countries.

On 11 April, the first working day of the exhibition “Fine Dining: Stories of Food in Ancient China�, the exclusive lecture “Fragrance of Wine and Charm of Tea. Traditions of culinary art in Ancient China� by the curator of the project Ms Yang Yue “Fragrance of Wine and Charm of Tea. Traditions of culinary art in Ancient China� will be held in the Lecture Hall of the Moscow Kremlin Museums.

On 2 April 2025, the press conference of General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina took place in the BRICS+ International Media Centre. The event was devoted to the exhibition “Fine Dining: Stories of Food in Ancient China� that opens on 11 April 2025.

The presentation of the book “Earth Orbit of Yuri Gagarin� by Andrei Simonov was held in the Memorial Space Museum on 26 March 2025. The book was published by the Fund “Russkie Vityazi� (Russian warriors) under support of the Association of Cosmonautics Museums. Elena Gagarina wrote the introductory article to the publication.

On 27 February 2025, the solemn ceremony took place in the Armoury Chamber during which the collective of the museum received departmental awards. Minister for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov presented a medal to the General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina for cooperation with the Ministry for the Development of Russian Far East and commendation to the collaborators of the Moscow Kremlin Museums.

On 14 February 2025, the cooperation agreement between the Moscow Kremlin Museums and the International Network TV BRICS was signed in the Cross Chamber of the Patriarch’s Palace. The signatures of General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina and Chairman of the International Network TV BRICS Ivan Polyakov verified the document.

On 7 February 2025, the cooperation agreement between the Moscow Kremlin Museums and the Government of the Chelyabinsk Region was signed in the Cross Chamber of the Patriarch’s Palace. The signatures of General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums Elena Gagarina and Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexey Texler verified the document.

On 28-29 January 2025, the Cross Chamber of the Patriarch’s Palace hosted the 27th session of the section “Ecclesiastical Antiquities� of the 33rd International Educational Readings. The theme of this year is “Historical Heritage of the Russian State during the Years of the Great Patriotic War�.
