the Russian State Historic Military Archive (RGVIA)

1# Infantry flint-lock gunThe exhibition, held in the exhibition hall of the Russian Federal Archival Agency in Moscow, was intended to coincide with celebrations of the 200th anniversary of the Russia’s victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. The exposition incorporates authentic documents and historical records of the period, which were brought together from the funds of the Russian State Historic Military Archive and other Russian federal archives, as well as original documents and copies from the archives of France, Finland and the Republic of Belarus.

Four precious items of the XIXth century from the Moscow Kremlin Museums are presented at the exhibition: two sabers, a broadsword with scabbard and an infantry flint-lock rifle. The most noteworthy article among the exhibits is the saber of Emperor Alexander I.
