Spread eagle with sceptre and orbThe exhibition of the Augsburg silver-work, organized in the Moscow Kremlin Museums, reveals a history of the two great countries' collaboration. It represents outstanding articles of different styles and forms from antique to modern. All the exhibits, both historical monuments and interior utensils, are wonders of delicate workmanship.

The Armoury Chamber possesses the world largest collection of artworks by the Augsburg silversmiths, which consists of over 500 items. Due to art of its execution the Augsburg silver-work of great cultural and artistic value was always in demand as ambassadorial gifts by the representatives of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Holy Roman Empire, Denmark and Sweden.

The display includes different precious utensils, decorative sculptures usually placed near the fireplaces, silverware and allows visitors to learn a history and development of goldsmithery, which have glorified Augsburg and its silversmiths.
